In his words: "My journey to ordination has been one of ups and downs.  A journey of patience and humility and I have not always been very good at either one of these virtutes.  Jesus is still teaching and testing me with fire, and I am sure He will continue for the rest of my life.  I have learned over the last five years that the word discernment doesn’t just mean deciding to accept God’s call to become a Deacon, but deciding to change my life to more reflect God’s will in my role as a husband, father and grandfather and servant in His Church.  This is a discernment that we all must undertake no matter what our vocation is.  I look forward to serving God and my Parish as I continue to develop an even deeper relationship with our Lord."
