Parish community honors Sr. Margaret

ROBERTSDALE — St. Patrick Catholic School and Parish in Robertsdale recently honored longtime principal Sr. Margaret Harte, P.B.V.M. for her 40-plus years of service to both the parish and school. 
Plaques recognizing Sr. Margaret now hang in both the church and school. A plaque in the church is hung near her favorite pew that has a candle that will be lit at each Mass to commemorate the love and dedication that she gave over her many years of service. At the school, a plaque is hung at the entrance of the school for all students to be reminded of her. Sr. Margaret always reminded us to “Be God’s Light in the World.”
Sr. Margaret retired at the end of the 2022-23 school year and the community wishes her the very best in her retirement back home in Ireland.
