Nominations now being accepted for college scholarship for Catholic women

The Alabama State Kouncil of Auxiliary Ladies of the Knights of Columbus (ASK  AL KC) is encouraging Catholic women in Alabama to apply for a $1,000 scholarship to a college or trade school that will be awarded at the state convention in April 2022.  
The applicant must be a practicing Catholic and a resident of Alabama. She may be a high school senior, someone already enrolled in college or a trade school or a woman who would like to return to college or a trade school or desiring to pursue a graduate degree. This scholarship is not based solely on grade-point average.  
To apply for the scholarship submit the following:
n A resume, explaining future endeavors and goals.
n A cover letter detailing desire for the scholarship, career plans and why the candidate feels deserving the scholarship.
n Two letters of recommendation:  one of which must be from the candidate's parish priest.
The resume and cover letter should be prepared by the applicants and mailed with two letters of recommendation, as a complete package, to the following address:

All applications for this scholarship must be completed as stated above and postmarked on or before:  Dec. 10, 2021, in order to be considered.
