MONTGOMERY — Catholic Social Services of Montgomery welcomed Kerry Alys Robinson, President and CEO of Catholic Charities USA along with distinguished guests, Montgomery Advisory Board members and staff for a dinner and evening of fellowship.
CSSM was pleased to welcome Robinson to Montgomery on Oct. 18, her third stop on her "8-week Anniversary" as the newly appointed president and CEO of Catholic Charities, USA. Kerry is the second layperson and second woman to hold this important position.
CSSM interim director, Jeff Clark was pleased to introduce Robinson along with Catholic Charities USA board member Connie O'Brien to his staff and share the CSS Montgomery story.
Following the meeting with the staff, CSSM hosted dinner and fellowship in Trinity Hall, which gave CSSM board members the opportunity to welcome and thank Robinson for the work the national organization has done that has directly impacted the area, most recently in Selma after the devastating tornados in early 2023.
Rev. Msgr. William Skoneki offered the blessing before dinner. Robinson spoke briefly about her desire to continue the good works she has witnessed over her lifetime endearing her to the mission of Catholic Charities.
