The Knights of Columbus of St. Pius X Parish are hosting a "Silver Rose" ceremony, which includes a recitation of the Rosary, at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31. 
The "Silver Rose" ceremony, which began in 1960, honors Our Lady of Guadalupe and reaffirms a dedication to the sanctity of human life.  
Each year, from early March through mid-December, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes from Canada to Mexico.
