Archivist/Records Manager, Archdiocese of Mobile: Job Description
Essential Function: Assume primary responsibility for the management of the records of the Archdiocese of Mobile and for providing reference services to various patrons and ministries within and without the archdiocese.

Maritime Ministry is in need of a part time driver. Candidate must have a current driver’s license, insurance and a good driving record. Candidate must successfully complete mandatory Archdiocese Child Protection training and background check. Job primarily consists of driving seafarers between their ships and shopping destinations. Candidate must be available Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday for about 15-20 hours per weeks. Hours are flexible and will vary depending on need. Job Description
Major Objective: To assist eligible clients with basic needs and services
Position Reports To: Director
Position is full-time; 35 hours per week; non-exempt
Qualifications: Preferred candidate will have bachelor’s degree in social work, or related degree in social services field. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have good computer and organizational skills. Must have 1-3 years of case management experience. Candidate must be able to work with staff, volunteers, and outside individuals and groups. Must have a valid Alabama Driver’s license and use of personal insured vehicle. Candidate must successfully complete Archdiocesan Child Protection Training and background check.

Major Objective: Interview and assess individuals and families to determine eligibility for emergency assistance utilizing agency resources or by making appropriate referrals to other community, state, and federal agencies.
Position Reports to: Direct Aid Program Manager
Employment: Full time - 35 hours per week. Must be available to work during normal operating hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in the field of social science or education. Candidate must possess above-average communication skills. Must have a valid Alabama driver’s License and have personal automobile insurance coverage. Travel within Montgomery County may be required. Candidate must successfully complete the Archdiocesan Child Protection Training and background check.
