Ever have doubts that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist? Did you know that you are not alone? Back in the eighth century, a monk in Lanciano, Italy, was having doubts about the “real presence.” After the consecration a miracle occurred. The host turned into real flesh and the wine was turned into real blood. In the modern era many examinations have been made of these and what scientists have found is that the flesh is human cardiac tissue and the blood is human blood.
