More than $135,000 raised for seminarian education

MONTGOMERY — More than $135,000 was raised Aug. 11 to support the Archdiocese of Mobile's seminarians at the annual Seminarian Summer Gala at Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School's Dolly Barranco Center.
Priests from throughout the archdiocese again donned aprons and served as waiters for the dinner. Proceeds raised will go toward seminarian education.
Patrons enjoyed a meal made by chef Fr. Alex Valladares, pastor of St. Bede the Venerable Parish in Montgomery. Fr. Nicholas Napolitano, pastor of St. Pius X Parish in Mobile volunteered as pastry chef.
