Mobile Curia ACIES scheduled for March 21

MOBILE — The annual Mobile Curia ACIES will be Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Little Flower Parish in Mobile. The Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. and Mass will begin at 10 a.m. The luncheon will be served in the school cafeteria. Former teacher at St. Joseph, Tuskegee dies
SINSINAWA, Wis.—Sister Ann O’Hara, OP, died Feb. 2, 2020, at St. Dominic Villa, Hazel Green, Wis.
Her religious name was Sister Michaud. The funeral Mass was held at the Dominican motherhouse,

Sinsinawa, Feb. 7, followed by burial in the Motherhouse Cemetery.
Sister Ann made her first religious profession as a Sinsinawa Dominican Aug. 5, 1950, and her perpetual profession Aug. 5, 1953. She taught for 38 years and served as a pastoral minister for 15 years.
Sister Ann shared her gift of being present with people in the tender moments of life and celebrated the
joyous moments with delight. She served in Minnesota, Alabama, Wisconsin and Illinois.
In the Archdiocese of Mobile, Sister Ann taught at St. Joseph Catholic School in Tuskegee from 1953-57.
Sister Ann was born Aug. 31, 1930, in Chicago, the daughter of Michael and Bridget (Durkin) O’Hara. Her parents; four sisters, Catherine Brannigan, Helen Hassett, Sister Mary Elizabeth (Caelan) O’Hara, OP, and
Beatrice Hopman; and six brothers, the Reverend Michael O’Hara, John O’Hara, the Reverend James O’Hara, Hugh O’Hara, Thomas O’Hara, and the Reverend Martin O’Hara, preceded her in death. She is survived by nieces, nephews and her Dominican Sisters with whom she shared 69 years of religious life.
