It was a special night on Sept. 23 at the Oscar H. Lipscomb Athletic Complex in Mobile as McGill-Toolen Catholic High School and St. Michael Catholic High School met for the first time on the football field. The night began in fitting fashion as both teams came together at midfield for a pregame prayer led by Archbishop Thomas J. Rodi. McT won the inaugural meeting 27-7 behind two Andrew Murcheson touchdown passes and 148 rushing yards from Trey Inge. McT will visit St. Michael next season.
