By the end of it, 40 days can feel like a long time. No, I don’t mean the 40 days of Lent but another 40 days that just concluded, the forty days between Christmas and the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple.

50 Years Ago Mrs. Margaret Stein was elected President of the Mobile Chapter of Catholic Nurses Association. Other officers were: Mrs. Mary Brown, 1st Vice-president; Miss Gloria Barahoma, Treasurer; Miss Martha Bradley, 2nd Vice-president and Mrs. Angela Dunlap, Secretary.

I enjoyed watching the Super Bowl the other evening. As the teams went to their locker rooms at halftime, I picked up my iPad to look at some social media.
